Where: Mostly Ensenada these days, San Diego when I need to be. Two hours up the road. I drive it more often than I’d planned.

Working on: Getting this site built out properly so it actually represents everything I do. Also working on the next phase of Soar Portal, productizing some things that have been custom engagements for too long. The AI consulting side is busy. Trying to be selective about what I take on.

Reading: The Power of the Dog by Don Winslow. Reading it in Baja feels like reading it where it happened, which is both great and slightly uncomfortable in the best way.

Cooking: Went deep on Yucatecan food this month. Cochinita pibil, sopa de lima, papadzules. Nothing local to Ensenada about this. I just like the food.

Giving back: Running Everybody Eats on Tuesday at Albergue San Vicente in Ensenada every week. Between 50 and 100 meals.

Not doing: Taking on new MRB Media retainer clients until Q3. Speaking is remote-only through May. Not going to conferences this year. They stopped being worth the time a while ago and I finally stopped going out of obligation.

Watching: Nothing. Streaming infrastructure where I am is unreliable and I’ve made peace with it. I read instead.
